Greetings!

Our "Season of Promise" gives a focus to this special time of year as we highlight

all we achieve together on behalf of our clients with developmental disabilities.

Whether it's through attending events like our recent Arc Angel Breakfast, donating to our Holiday Gift Card program, or mentoring aspiring young workers, your efforts make a difference all year long.

Thank you for recognizing and supporting the tremendous promise of all those we serve.

Arc Angel Breakfast a Huge Success!
Arc Angel Breakfast Poster
Mike Lau, our "Everyday Hero" poster-guy, was on-hand at our 11th Annual Arc Angel Breakfast, encouraging guests to help transform lives by supporting The Arc.

"I'm Ready!" was the theme of The Arc Angel Breakfast held at the Julia Morgan Ballroom on October 18th. Senator Mark Leno, Judge Quentin Kopp and a host of distinguished corporate leaders were among the 320 guests attending the 11th annual fundraiser.  SEE PHOTOS

The morning featured the stories and successes of The Arc's "Everyday Superheroes," plus the debut of our new "I'm Ready!" video. Over $290,000 was raised to support the vital services that make it possible for people with autism, Down syndrome and other developmental disabilities to live more independently.

Thank you to our wonderful Arc Angel donors, our sponsors, speakers, volunteers and partners who made this important event possible. Your commitment to our mission is extraordinary and we are very grateful for your support. CLICK TO SEE PHOTOS

Olive Garden Hosts Client Job-Seekers from The Arc
lunch at Olive Garden
Clients from The Arc enjoy a mentoring lunch at the Olive Garden restaurant.

The Olive Garden Restaurant in Stonestown, San Francisco hosted 12 aspiring job seekers and Arc job coaches recently in an afternoon program that included an inside look at hospitality work and lunch for all participants.

During the "Disability Mentoring Lunch", clients asked several questions about what it takes to succeed at a fast-paced restaurant and Olive Garden staff were gracious in answering their questions and offering tips for success.

Thank you General Manager "Shoma" Andras Plasztan and all the other Olive Garden staff who made this such an instructive (and tasty!) occasion for our clients.

The Arc Season of Promise

Your gifts, large or small, have the power to transform our clients' lives.

Purchase a Holiday Gift Card for a client who needs a warm sweater or new blanket. Or make a donation that provides Job Development for an eager, aspiring worker. Or give the gift of Independent Living by supporting vital training that teaches personal banking, shopping, cooking and other life skills.

This year-end, please invest in the promise of our clients.

DONATE TODAY!
