First Mardi Party a success!

Thank you to everyone who joined us on Fat Tuesday for the first-ever Mardi Party at Lagunitas TapRoom! 30th Anniversary Impact Award

On March 12th, LP's very own Marcy Gonzalez will be recognized by the Chicago Foundation for Women with their very prestigious 30th Anniversary Impact Award. 

The award honors Marcy, LP's Legal Services Director, for her work to provide immigrant victims of domestic violence with a path to legal permanent residency and the possibility of economic independence. Join us in congratulating Marcy on this well-deserved recognition!
A Growing Family at LP

We are proud to announce the addition of two new hires: Silvia Jimenez and Gwendolyn (Wendy) Estrada! Both women are now part of the immigration legal services team, Wendy as the receptionist, and Silvia as an immigration caseworker.

 

Additionally, Charles A. Krugel was recently elected to Latinos Progresando's Board of Directors. Mr Krugel, a labor, employment and human resources attorney, has demonstrated a great commitment to a variety of non-profit and community organizations across the city of Chicago. We are thrilled to have him on board!
