Get on stage with Teatro Americano

Ever dream of being a star? Teatro Americano's Get on Stage workshop series begins tomorrow! Workshops will run every Saturday for 6 weeks from 11am to 1pm.

Participants are allowed to attend any of the six workshops, attendance at all is not required.

All actors and community members welcome.
Two more LP staff earn BIA credentials

Join us in congratulating two members of LP's immigration legal services team--Abril Millan and Araceli Dominguez. Both have officially earned accreditation by the Board of Immigration Appeals (BIA)--an incredible achievement.

Abril and Araceli have been a critical support system for LP's existing BIA accredited representatives, and now will be able to take on a caseload of their own. We're very lucky and very proud to have them on our team.

Latinos Progresando to be honored by Chicago A Cappella 

At their upcoming performance, A Cappella en Espaņol, Chicago A Cappella will recognize Latinos Progresando for its work in the Marshall Square community.

The 2015 A Cappella en Espaņol, performed at the Logan Center for the Arts on February 8th, will have a special focus on music from Mexico.
