At their November Board meeting, the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) voted to elect Latinos Progresando's founder and current Executive Director, Luis Gutierrez as the newest member of the ACLU of Illinois Board of Directors. 

"I'm honored to have been chosen to be part of such an important and historic organization," said Luis. "I will do my best to use this opportunity to highlight the issues that are important to our community."
