Updates on Voter Registration
Thanks to the Cook County Clerk's Office for issuing a revised statement about expanded voter registration in Illinois. As published in LP's last newsletter, for a non-US citizen, registering to vote (even unintentionally) carries major implications for one's immigration status.

Latinos Progresando at CFW's Boot Camp
On October 19th, LP's Director of Development Adrienne Lange participated as a panelist discussing The Role of the Board Member in Fundraising, as part of the Chicago Foundation for Women's 2013 Board Boot Camp. Along with two other panelists, Adrienne offered advice and shared her experience with women interested in serving on non-profit boards.
