Help shape transportation in Milton
May 10 Open House and Online Survey

The City of Milton Public Works Department is looking for feedback on its Comprehensive Transportation Plan (CTP) update including projects on the proposed TSPLOST project list. Join us for a Transportation Plan Showcase and TSPLOST Open House, Tuesday, May 10, from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. at Milton City Hall, located at 13000 Deerfield Pkwy, Suite 107E.  This is a drop-in event, so join for as little or as long as you like.

Over the last year, the CTP process has worked with the public, inventoried existing conditions, analyzed current and future needs, and developed project recommendations to respond to these needs. As we finalize the plan, we need your help to prioritize projects to best position the City for future transportation success.

Citizens throughout Fulton County will have the opportunity to vote on a proposed Transportation Special Local-Option Sales Tax (TSPLOST) this November. This potential 0.75% (3/4 cent), five-year referendum could bring a projected $36.5 million to the City of Milton to fund transportation projects and we need your help prioritizing the projects. "The CTP is an important plan that helps the City understand the transportation needs that exist and assists with developing projects and policies to address them" said Sara Leaders, transportation engineer for the City of Milton.

Take a moment to tell us what you think through our online survey.

In addition to the public meeting and online survey, residents can meet with the project team at either of the following events on May 7:

  • Bell Memorial Park, from 1 to 3 p.m. by the concession stand, located at 15245 Bell Park Road
  •  Milton Hometown Jubilee, from 4 to 6 p.m. at the Broadwell Pavilion, located at 12615 Broadwell Road

The open house, community events and survey are part of many steps in getting your feedback. Your input will help us prioritize planning efforts as we complete recommendations of the plan.
