Mark your calendar for the Milton Literary Festival Nov. 13 & 14

The Crabapple community will be buzzing with best selling and regional authors, aspiring authors, readers and others when the Milton Literary Group hosts the first Milton Literary Festival on November 13 and 14

The Festival kicks off with a "Dinner With the Authors" Event on Friday, Nov. 13, at 7 p.m. at Milton's Cuisine and Cocktails. Twenty members of the community will have the chance to meet four of the festival's best-selling authors over dinner in a "movable feast" setting. This exclusive dinner event is on a first-come, first-served basis, at a cost of $35 which includes a three-course, pre-set meal. To reserve your place, please register on the Festival website by clicking  here.  Space is limited so don't delay.

On Saturday, Nov. 14, the festival moves into full throttle at the Alpharetta Municipal Center located at 12624 Broadwell Road in downtown Crabapple.  The day's events feature an Opening Keynote address from Milton's own Karen White, New York Times best-selling author of many titles, including The Sound of Glass and a Closing Address from Ray Atkins, best-selling author of Sweetwater Blues.  In the hours in between, the festival will host 25 other talented writers from Milton and the surrounding area. It's a day packed with panel discussions on everything from children's and young adult fiction to humor and thriller, author chats, and workshops for writers at all levels whether you are just thinking about writing or are ready to put pen to paper or have a draft on hand.

"There will be something for everyone who loves the world of books," said Community Builder Wayne Boston, "and an opportunity to meet and mingle with your favorite authors and to find new ones."
