Have you been to Wilbur and Rudy's Farmtable? Tasted the all-organic coffee, shopped the farmers' market with locally grown produce and goods?
Be sure to join Better Together, Milton's citizen volunteer committee, for a business connection event showcasing Wilbur & Rudy's Farmtable.
This free event will take place from 1 to 5 p.m. tomorrow, Friday, Sept. 18, at Wilbur & Rudy's Farmtable, located at 850 Hickory Flat Road. The entire community is invited, said Wayne Boston, community builder for the City of Milton.
"Each of these events creates new connections," he said. "Whether its health, food or fashion, we're trying to bring something for everyone and introduce the community to local businesses."
Ryan Bowersox, co-founder and proprietor of Wilbur and Rudy's said, "This event will be an opportunity for Milton residents to see our unique blend of half gift shop, half everyday market, mingle with your neighbors and friends, taste delicious local foods and enjoy free kids activities. We love this community and we're really thankful to be a part of it."
Additionally, the first 20 attendees will receive special discounts and free coffee. There will be giveaways including naming rights for a new coffee drink to be featured on the menu for a month, gift cards, coffee and many, many more local treats.
Businesses in Milton are encouraged to contact Boston at 678-242-2512 or wayne.boston@cityofmiltonga.us if they would be willing to host an event in order to introduce their particular product or service to our residents. Better Together will then work with the business to plan an event that will be educational, productive and enjoyable to all.
Better Together is a volunteer organization of Milton residents looking for unique and fun ways to connect with neighbors.
