Milton's HYA baseball fall registration now open

Season to take place in Alpharetta, Forsyth, Milton due to Bell renovations
MILTON, Ga., July 7, 2014 - Online registration for Hopewell Youth Association's (HYA) Fall 2014 recreational baseball season for players 4 to 15 is now open at the group's Web site, www.hopewellbaseball.org.

To register and for full information on age cut off dates, volunteer coaching opportunities and league fees, click here. This page is also accessible by visiting www.hopewellbaseball.org and clicking on the "Register Online' link to the upper left.

Due to the Bell Memorial Park expansion project kicking off in August (click here for more information), this season will be split between several locations; however, through agreements with other cities, counties, schools, parks and leagues HYA is able to offer the full range of leagues.

Specific field and park scheduling will depend on number of teams in each age group. Generally, though, age groups will play at: 
Registration will close Monday, July 21. A $25 late fee will be charged for any registrations after this date. Each phase of the registration is open to all ages.

Skill assessments for all age groups will be held on Saturday, Aug. 2 (rain out date Sunday, Aug. 3) at Bell Memorial Park (click here for directions), the last activity before it is closed for construction. Time and field assignment for each age group will be announced when registration closes.

HYA, which recently celebrated its 28th anniversary, is a non-profit organization that schedules and programs the baseball activities at Milton's Bell Memorial Park through a joint agreement with the City of Milton.
