Canceled: Milton Earth Day Festival today

Festival canceled due to inclement weather
MILTON, Ga., April 19, 2014 - The 2014 Milton Earth Day Festival presented by the City of Milton and Milton Grows Green, scheduled for today, Saturday, April 19, is cancelled.

Weather conditions have made Friendship Community Park an unfavorable site and the forecast of continued rain forced festival coordinators to cancel the event. The concern for public safety and enjoyment is always top priority for the City of Milton's community events.

Milton Grows Green would like to thank the many volunteers and vendors, as well as
returning presenting sponsor Children's Healthcare of Atlanta, Comfort Zone, Creative Solar, Home Depot, Optech, North Fulton School of Music, Roswell Pediatrics Center, Scottsdale Farms, Rhino Shield, Brightway Insurance, Waste Management, Verizon Wireless and RGR Motorsports for their continued support of the Milton Earth Day Festival.
