Equinox Portal 2013

September 13, 2013

Hi Everyone, I hope you are well. I would like to share here some thoughts about an energetic portal coming up, from September 18 - September 22, 2013, which includes the Full Harvest Moon (on Sept 19) and the Autumn Equinox (on Sept 22). (It is the Spring Equinox down under). The primary energies at this time are about balance, as both Autumn and Spring Equinoxes are moments of perfect electromagnetic balance on earth.

In addition, the day before the Harvest Moon we also have a key astrological event: Saturn conjunct the North Node (and Venus) in Scorpio on Sept 18. This alignment is in keeping with the themes of harvest and balance, and offers an opportunity for clearing our balance sheet and coming into a more real expression of our most progressive path in this lifetime.

As per my previous newsletter (http://ow.ly/oRdYx) the fee for an Astrological Coaching session is changing. The new fee of $125 will go into effect on January 1, 2014. The current fee of $108 will remain in effect through December 31, 2013. I have a limited number of coaching session time-slots available for the rest of the year. I usually book 2 weeks to a month in advance (I am booking now for October and following). So if you would like to have a consult by the end of the year at the current price, go ahead and get on the calendar now.

Click here for a full description of an Astrological Coaching session http://ow.ly/oe3A9 and please do read the details on the logistics, scheduling and etc. I look forward to working with you! P.S. I recently refreshed my website (www.threemoonocean.com) and hope you will enjoy it:)

Blessings!

Important News: Saturn and the North Node are meeting up in the skies (at 9 degrees of Scorpio) on September 18, 2013. This is a rare occurrence. First, the players:

Saturn is known as the Lord of Karma; but more importantly, Saturn is the Great Initiator. These two things are related. Karma can be seen as Opportunity - an opportunity to shift beyond previous limitations and long-held patterns that aren't supporting our highest good. So, Saturn's energy represents an opportunity for initiation into a higher level of consciousness - but only after we have paid our dues and cleared the decks of past debts, both energetic and material. Saturn stands at the threshold and holds us accountable, checking the balance sheet before we can pass through the ring-pass-not to a higher vibrational rate.

The North Node is a point in the sky that is related to the intersection of earth/moon orbits. For centuries the North and South Nodes have been associated with destiny, the timeline of past and future. The South Node is the past. It represents past lives and past experiences in this life. During our lifetime we are moving along the axis of this nodal line - away from the South Node toward the North Node (which is opposite on the wheel). The North Node is the future, our destiny, and the most progressive path for our spiritual growth.

The rarity of a cycle always adds to its importance: Saturn and the North Node are conjunct in this area of the sky only about every 148 years (but not always in the sign of Scorpio). Take a look at the unusual quality of Saturn conjunct North Node in Scorpio:

"Saturn has a 29-year orbit and the Nodes have a 19-year orbit. This means these two coming together in Scorpio is a rare event. About every 148 years or so, Saturn and the North Node do come back to being near the same seasonal cycles. For example, in 1865 about 148 years ago, Saturn and the North Node did NOT meet in Scorpio, though they did meet at the last degrees of Libra almost in Scorpio.

The same is true for 1717 when they came together in Libra but missed connecting in Scorpio. In 1603 Saturn and the North Node were both in Scorpio but their exact conjunction occurred in early Sagittarius. If we go all the way back to 1454 on November 29 both Saturn and the North Node were at 18 Scorpio - 559 years ago. Looking forward we only have to wait 148 years for Saturn and the North Node to again join in Scorpio on the 5th of November 2161 at 24 Scorpio." - Cayelin Castell, celestialtimings.com

Because this wonderful Opportunity happens to fall on the day before the Full Harvest Moon, and just four days before the Autumn Equinox, we can see how these several days in September become a portal of great potential. The Harvest Moon begins our reaping of what we have sown since the Spring - the seeds, i.e. projects and personal changes, that we planted at that time. The Autumn Equinox is a time of balance, bringing the accounts to balance and sorting out what we will be wheat and what will be chafe.

One definition of karma is: what you sow, you shall reap (from the Bible). Combined with the North Node, the message is: your progressive path awaits, but you must deal with 'your stuff' before you cross the threshold of this doorway.

It is as if the past 30 (or 148?) years of your life have been carved into a stone tablet. That tablet must be broken to pieces, a new stone taken out, polished and written on: with an updated mission statement. Free and clear of past burdens (drop the rock) you can then move more easily into the future. New structures will then be built for the next epochal chapter of your life.

In the sign of Scorpio, great intensity is added. Scorpio needs to be passionately and intensely ALIVE. So this new script we are writing now can't be hum-drum. It must be something that fills us with desire, passion and a deep feeling that "hey this is what I came here to do!" Here we are being initiated into the most passionate and fully alive expression of our destiny. Ask yourself - what would it take for me to live my most alive, exciting and passionate life possible. This can be made real, beginning now.

In addition, Venus is also near Saturn and North Node - by less than two degrees. This only adds to the passion and depth of this singular moment.

NOTE: this process doesn't have to take place in a single day! With Saturn cycles, you have at least a year to mold them. Saturn moves slowly in its process and then after a year or two what you have created gets 'written into stone' and becomes a firm foundation/structure upon which you will build.

So just pay attention to what is happening in your life this month. And at your Harvest Moon/Equinox celebrations, come into awareness of what your passion is, and allow Saturnian energy to help you make it real.

If you need some help in understanding the energies of the passionate expression of your destiny, an Astrological Coaching Session reveals and explores that very thing. Click here to schedule a coaching session with me:

Sept 19: Full Harvest Moon

Each fall the trees "sacrifice" their leaves. They let them fall to the ground to be recycled. Trees benefit greatly from this "sacrifice." - @Share_This

The Full Harvest Moon occurs on Thursday September 19, 2013 at 7:13am EDT at 27 degrees Virgo/Pisces. The Full Harvest Moon is a sight to behold and it's shimmering light brings grace and holiness.

Last year at the December Winter Solstice the process leading to harvest began: within the darkness of the womb of creation we gestated unformed intent - dreaming of the upcoming growing season. At the Spring Equinox in March we decidedee what seeds we wanted to plant and planted them in fresh soil. Now, nine months later in September, we gather our harvest.

From this point on, we rush to the dieing, to the point of Winter Solstice No-Light which will be the womb of a higher octave of creation at the next Spring Equinox.

Our ancestors were often frantic in their efforts to bring in the harvest before winter arrived. Without electric lights as we have, the Harvest Moon was the one night during peak harvest when the fields were lit up as if it was daytime. The people labored joyously and with celebration to store up their rich reaping for winter.

The racial memory of this time of preparation gives fall a bittersweet quality. If we are tuning in we might even sense our own mortality. Many people have an unconscious fear of winter, and dread the darkness of the short days. So as we frolic in the fall, the exquisite beauty of the dieing leaves reminds us that fierce beauty lives alongside soft, sweet endings. And that the circle continues.

Each autumn, we witness "a swan song of unparalleled brilliance and beauty, a last hurrah before the world falls asleep and gathers its energies for the year to come. Across the years, we join hands and nod to each other in greeting, ancestors and moderns moving to shared and timeless rhythms in the great dance of time." - Catherine Kerr

Every Full Moon brings something to full Illumination. It lights up the night of our consciousness so we can see things more clearly. As the seasons turn, Dance in the Light!

Sept 22 - Autumnal Equinox

You're what the autumn knew would happen / after the last collapse / of primary colour / once the last absolutes were torn to pieces / you could begin. // How you broke open, what sheathed you / until this moment / you amaze me / now that I watch you / starting to give yourself / away to the wind. - Adrienne Rich

equinox lightThe Autumn Equinox occurs on Sunday September 22 at 4:44pm EDT (isn't that a great number!) The Equinoxes - both Spring and Autumn - are the seasonal time of balance and harmony when the days and nights are equal in length.

The Equinoxes are a doorway or opening of the magnetic field of Earth. Twice each year, at the Equinoxes, the Sun rises and sets exactly over the equator, tracking exactly due East and due West, no matter where you are on earth.

The Equinox Solar Effect produces a reduction in the magnetic field of the Earth, providing easier access to other dimensions, beginning around 24 hours before, and ending around 24 hours after the exact Equinox point.

It is as if the thick veils between earth and dimensions beyond the physical become their thinnest, and a Threshold forms. It is a Magnetic Threshold, charged and pulsing with energy as the walls of density collapse.

Sacred sites such as Chaco Canyon in the American Southwest and the Mayan temple complex at Chichen Itza are examples of ancient sites that were built specifically to capture the light at the time of the Equinox. The ancients had clear knowing of the importance of this bi-annual collapse in the magnetic field of earth. A time to collapse our own conscious boundaries and listen for messages - or send messages of our own through the opening.

Equinoxes are a powerful time for doing ceremonial activations at sacred sites or anywhere you happen to be.

The theme for the Equinox is BALANCE, in every sense of the word. The Spring Equinox is about balance as well, but it is different in tone from the Fall Equinox.

In the Spring we are heady with the vibrant life-force energy - dormant for months - now pulsing from the earth. We seek balance in how we plant our seeds, how we visualize our game plan to make hay while the sun shines in the spring and summer.

At the Autumn Equinox, we seek the balance of discernment as we look back on how the seeds we planted at the Spring Equinox have grown. Have they produced fruit? Was the full bloom what we intended? What do we need to tweak in our process for next year's planting season? We may need to abandon certain projects, realizing that they died on the vine or perhaps the fruit is bitter. Perhaps we have changed so much since the spring (which, I am certain we all have) that our perfectly blossomed flowers and delicious fruit are no longer what we truly desire.

In addition, this Autumn Equinox has special energies on a galactic level:

"The Zero Libra point marking the Autumnal Equinox is currently aligned with the North Galactic Pole. The North Galactic Pole lies 90 degrees north of the Galactic Plane in the constellation of Coma Berenices. Astronomers consider this region of the sky to be one of the best for studying other galaxies, because the conditions here are favorable for seeing beyond our galaxy. When the Solar Gates (in this case Equinoxes) align with the galactic poles, an intergalactic doorway is opened. This Timing allows for easier access to the intergalactic energy codes coming in through this doorway via the Sun. We can maximize this Timing by choosing to anchor the incoming energy codes of love and light that are intended to assist us and the Earth in the ascension process." - Cayelin Castell

This is a powerful awareness to bring into your Equinox celebrations. Enjoy!
