Textbooks! We gotcher textbooks here! And laptops too!
 The school year is almost here, and the campus is drowning in textbooks and laptops. In order to allow everyone already at work to surface, they've got a special offer: Textbooks for free and laptops for $25.
Not that the school is suddenly in the book and laptop sales business.The staff just wants to make sure that all students get to the first day of school (19 days and counting...) with all of their textbooks and laptops distributed to them. Here's the schedule:
Sophomores: Wednesday, Aug. 12, 8-11:45 a.m.
Juniors: Thursday, Aug. 13, 8-11:45 a.m.
Seniors: Friday, Aug. 14, 8-11:45 a.m.
Freshmen: Wednesday, Aug. 19, 8-11:45 a.m. PowerUP Laptops will be distributed with textbooks. You must have $25 in cash along with the completed and parent-signed form, which can be downloaded on the Carnegie New Building Facebook page here. Parents may come to pick up books, laptops and locker assignments if the student can't make it for some reason. Please, please, please only show up on the date assigned. The staff is only set up to distribute books and laptops on the days assigned to the specific grade levels. If for some reason you simply cannot make these dates, don't worry as the students can do all of this during the first week of school. Not exactly Option A, as the sooner they get the books and computers, the better, but doable.
