INCLUSIONARY HOUSING WORKSHOP
How can we keep Portland affordable?

Are you feeling the squeeze of Portland's rising housing costs? Do you know people who can't afford to live here anymore? Join SE Uplift, OPAL Environmental Justice Oregon and the Welcome Home Coalition to learn about House Bill 2564 and what you can do to advocate for local housing development policies aimed at keeping Portland affordable for people of all income levels.

TRENDS IN LAND USE
April Edition

There are roughly 4,000 apartment units currently under construction in Portland. In some neighborhoods you can't go a couple of blocks without seeing construction crews busy at work on the latest 4-story multifamily building. So is this apartment construction boom unique to Portland? And is the current rate of development simply a symptom of developers having to play catch-up from the recession.

IT'S NEIGHBORHOOD CLEANUP SEASON
Get Rid of All That Clutter

Last spring, over 1,324 households recycled over 269,480 lbs of mixed waste, 22,780 lbs of metal, and 35,760 lbs of yard debris at our 12 neighborhood cleanups. That's the equivalent of the weight of roughly 11 Trimet buses or 182 Car2Gos. See how you too can get rid of your rubbish, without having to leave your neighborhood.
