Every Number Has A Story
|
We enjoy telling you how many people benefit from our stories but sometimes it means more to hear the stories behind the numbers.
Ms. Harris is a single mother. She grew up in Baltimore with a dream. Her dream was to own a home and start a daycare business. She came to St. Ambrose because she wanted to realize that dream by saving up money for a down payment on her own home.
Leah Mason Grant, Interim Director of Rental Services, worked with Ms. Harris to set up an action plan and savings program for her. After two short years she realized her goal. She tearfully handed in her rental keys to Leah last month. She has a front and back yard for her child to play and room for her business to grow. Ms. Harris now is the proud owner of her own home and a business.
Do you have a St. Ambrose story? What is your first memory of St. Ambrose? How did you about us? Did we help you? What does home mean to you? Email us at kaleemab@stambros.org and your story may be featured in our next E-Newsletter.
