St. Ambrose and NeighborWorks America are answering the call to assist New York and New Jersey in the wake of Superstorm Sandy.
In December Rebecca Sheppard, St. Ambrose's Homesharing Director, provided technical assistance to the Affordable Housing Alliance of Eatontown, NJ. They quickly set up a new Homesharing program to fill an urgent need for safe, affordable, livable housing in heavily impacted areas.
In addition to facilitating support between its affiliates, NeighborWorks America developed a comprehensive manual for individuals and families affected by Superstorm Sandy, available here.
