You could qualify for $15,000 in down payment assistance for purchasing a Baltimore home.  Wells Fargo's CityLIFT is taking applications [Click for PDF Flyer].
 
Households earning up to 120%  of area median income - $102,700 for a household of four - are eligible for the $15,000 award.
 
There are 65 awards available between now and April; buyers must have:
 
1) Homebuyer education certificate
2) Mortgage pre-approval from an approved lender
3) Signed sales contract
 
St. Ambrose's Free Homeownership Counseling is an approved site to receive homebuyer education to qualify for CityLIFT - see sidebar for details.

Awarded: Foreclosure Settlement Grants

The Attorney General's Mortgage Servicers Settlement provided funding to St. Ambrose for legal services.  The agency was awarded a three year grant from the Office of the Attorney General and the Department of Housing and Community Development to continue foreclosure prevention interventions.
