Charles Ormsbee Retires from NCLD

Our webmaster, Charles Ormsbee, will be hanging up his North Central Library District hat at the end of 2015. Charles began working for NCLD in 2001 as technology trainer. In 2004, Charles wrote an LSTA grant for funding to create web sites for all the district libraries that didn't have one. At that time almost all the district libraries had a single page on the NCLD web site. The following year, Charles wrote another LSTA grant for a mobile lab and to do training for the public.During one two year period he taught over 175 workshops for the public. Since 2009, Charles has concentrated on designing and developing web sites for district members. Charles expertise and kind manner will certainly be missed. We wish Charles the best in his next endeavors!
