workout-partners-bikes.jpg A spin class for triathletes, or those considering signing up for a triathlon in 2014. This class will focus on specific cycling skill sets needed for optimal performance in the bike leg of Sprint and International distance triathlons. These include fixed interval sets, ladders, superspins, standing sprints, tempo sets, one-leg spinning drills, and recovery. Minimum 6.

A multiple Brick workout

Spin Class Aerobic and anaerobic cycling workout + run intervals. For triathletes, this brick workout modification will help improve the anerobic and muscular endurance you need for racing. Minimum 6 participants. Drop-in available if class minimum is reached.

November session: Sundays, November 3, 10, & 17

Indoor Triathlon Prep Workout

Prepare for and participate in the Turkey Triathlon

Indoor Tri Run New to triathlons or ready to get a start on the 2014 race season? These workouts will prepare you for our November 24 Turkey Triathlon; each session will cover aspects of the Indoor Triathlon's swim, bike, run & transitions. At the end of your session you'll compete in the races. Minimum 6 participants. Single session drop-in will be available if class minimum is reached.

Training class fee includes entry into the Turkey Triathlon.

Sundays, November 3, 10, 17 + November 24 race

7:00-8:00am

$59 RecPlex Member, $69 Non-member (includes race entry)

Class Information

  • First class session: Swim + Bike. Meet at the Waterpark swim lanes. Note: please enter the Waterpark through the Family Changing Room. There will not be access from the locker rooms.
  • Second class session: Bike + Run. Meet in the Spin Studio.
  • Third class session: Mini-triathlon - Swim + Bike + Run. Meet at the Waterpark swim lanes.

On Sundays you can enter the RecPlex at 6:55am. Please change and meet the instructor as close to 7am as possible.

10 minute swim + 10 minute transition + 20 minute spin bike + 5 minute transition + 15 minute treadmill run

Online registration closes the Friday before race day at Noon. In-person registration closes the day before the race at Noon. Absolutely no race day registration.
