New to triathlons or ready to get a start on the 2013 race season? These workouts will prepare you for our Indoor Triathlons; each session will cover aspects of the Indoor Tri's swim, bike, and run. At the end of the class you'll compete in the April Indoor/Outdoor Triathlon on April 28. Class fee includes entry into the April 28 Triathlon.
$59 RecPlex Member, $69 Non-member (includes race entry). Drop-in is available for individual days; $10 RecPlex member, $15 non-member. Pay at the RecPlex Guest Services Desk and bring your receipt to class.
April 7 session is swim + bike. Meet in the Aqua Arena at 7am (enter through the family changing rooms).

Aerobic and anaerobic cycling workout & run intervals. For triathletes, this brick workout modification will help improve the anerobic & muscular endurance you need for racing.

Tri Cycle Spring Session
A spin class for triathletes, or those considering signing up for a triathlon in 2013. This class will focus on specific cycling skill sets needed for optimal performance in the bike leg of Sprint and International distance triathlons. These include fixed interval sets, ladders, superspins, standing sprints, tempo sets, one-leg spinning drills, and recovery.

Save the Dates - Lake Andrea Swim Schedule
Prepare for the summer Triathlons by swimming the course across Lake Andrea. All swims will have a USAT Triathlon Swim Coach & be supported in by lifeguards in kayaks. "Noodles" will be available from the lifeguards in the kayaks before and during the swim for those who need some additional help for the swim.
We will meet at the beach on the west side of Lake Andrea. We enter the water at the times listed. Please arrive 15 minutes early to check-in and receive the pre-swim briefing.

Wet suits in selected sizes will be available for rental for the swims from 3-Fitness.
NOTE: Depending on the format of the Iron Girl Triathlon swim course, S0ME of our lake swims in July and August may change from across the lake to an out-and-back course. Any changes will be noted on this page and on the calendar on the RecPlexOnline home page. For out-and-back swims there will be a 1/4 mile loop and a 1/2 mile loop. Participants may swim as many loops as they wish during the one hour swim time.
