MAY 6

Improving Cooperation in the Workplace through Conflict Resolution

Humans evolved and survived due to their ability to cooperate - whether finding food or defending themselves against danger. The need to contribute to the common good is innate and when that is frustrated, people may act out in ways that are at least counter-productive and at worst dangerous.

Rudeen's workshop covers four stages of human development as they apply to our working relationships and offers the mediator ideas to help assess the causes of the conflict and suggestions for how to intervene.
