CONFLICT COACHING TRAINING

CONFLICT COACHING  
This all day training is an intensive introduction to the principles of Conflict Coaching.  Participants will learn how to apply their current conflict resolution and mediation skills.  In addition, they will gain new insights to this unique approach and have opportunities to practice and apply them.

Conflict coaching is a one-one session intended to assist individuals address specific conflicts in order to gain skills and tools to engage in, manage or productively resolve conflicts generally.  It is a new and exciting discipline for professional mediators.

Conflict coaching may be used in both personal and workplace contexts.  It will add a valuable conflict resolution skill set to each participant's repertoire.

The conflict coach helps the coachee better understand the conflict, feel heard and validated, and provide a variety of tools that address the conflict.  The coachee learns to:
  • Identify personal needs and interests concerning the conflict
  • Understand better the other person's needs and interests
  • Brainstorm possible solutions and ways to address these needs and interests
  • Evaluate and create criteria for selecting possible solutions
Our three-member training team guarantees that each participant receives personalized attention and feedback during the training.

TRAINERS

REQUIRED PREREQUISITE 
Community Boards' The Basics of Mediation, a comparable 40-hour training, or two years of professional conflict resolution practice.
