  Georgia Association of Latino Elected Officials (GALEO)

Seeking College Interns for Summer and Fall in 2014. Interested in working on immigration reform and voter engagement in Georgia?  GALEO seeks undergraduate or graduate students every semester (Spring, Summer & Fall) for several part-time internships in community relations and administrative support. All student interns will be required to work a minimum of 10-15 hours per week and work directly with the Executive Director and Program Manager on a variety of important duties. 

 

Farmworker Health Lead Outreach Worker (North Carolina) - Vecinos, Inc.

Farmworker Health Program

Position accompanies other outreach staff to evening and weekend mobile clinics conducted onsite in migrant labor camps. Also works to coordinate follow-up care after evening clinics and arrange case management as needed and assists the director in raising awareness of  the program and advocating for farmworkers at a variety of community events. Freedom to Marry (Full Time Georgia Organizer) - Georgia Equality

Freedom to Marry and Georgia Equality seek an experienced community organizer to lead public education efforts to increase support for marriage for same-sex couples in Georgia. The contractor will work with Freedom to Marry national staff and local partner, Georgia Equality, to develop and implement a plan for earned media, field and coalition involvement with demonstrable goals and timelines. Outreach & Communications Coordinator - Georgians for a Healthy Future

Georgians for a Healthy Future (GHF), a nonprofit consumer health advocacy organization, has an immediate opening for an outreach and communications coordinator. The outreach and communications coordinator will provide communications, grassroots organizing, and research support for GHF's initiatives and priorities. This is a full-time position reporting to the executive director and based in Atlanta with some travel throughout the state. Two Positions: Associate Director and Field Coordinator - Asian American Legal Advocacy Center (AALAC)
