Greetings!

What a year! We wrapped up our volunteer program in 2012 with a stellar workshop on Legislative Advocacy on Saturday, December 1. Over 50 participants attended to learn how to defend and promote bodily autonomy and reproductive rights in our state. Thanks to Amanda from Georgians for a Healthy Future, Cortez from SPARK, Rebecca from Steel Cut Strategies, and Reps. Margaret Kaiser and Brian Thomas for helping to make the workshop a success!

We are primed to act when the legislative session starts on Monday, January 14. Join FWHC this winter as we work to protect reproductive health, rights and justice in Georgia:

  • Sign up to visit your legislator at an in-district visit or to host a house party - see below for more details!
  • Sign up for FAN, our Feminist Advocacy Network email alerts
  • Refer a friend to volunteer
  • Get ready to advocate at our Voice Beyond Choice Advocacy Days
  • Come to a FOCUS Reproductive Justice Advocacy Workshop, held on the third Tuesday of each month - RSVP here for the Tuesday, January 15 FOCUS Workshop
Get involved today and make a difference--call 404.248.5445 or email Betty to get started! We're looking forward to seeing you more in 2013.

We had some great victories in 2012, and some difficult losses. Now is the time to rest, recuperate and care for ourselves and one another before we go at it hard again in 2013
