Subject: Island & Neighborhood Safety and Security
Team SICA, We had a very good progressive and informative meeting last night for the YHMHOA meeting at Palm Beach Shores hall. Officer Cheeseman was there giving advice, answering questions and listening to resident's concerns. Ofc. Cheeseman also briefly talked about the recently reported attack on the Blue Heron Bridge that is still under investigation. Ofc.Cheeseman got back to Cheryl and I early Monday morning with her problem on the Blue Heron Bridge over the weekend. I do realize that Our Police do a good job overall with the many problems on the Island and off. I wish we had 1 more person at least 11-7 each night on the Island. It is a deterrent with Police visibility for sure. They all have their hands full with 9 murders in Our City in less than 10 months. Ofc. Cheeseman is a good representative for us and appreciates all of our input. Thank You for the great job you do with the weekly newsletter. I know how much you care about Singer Island overall and the safety of our residents.

Subject: Lozman's Cove
Please provide an over view/update. Between cars and trucks which are regularly pulled adjacent to this property (without a curb cut for legal ingress and egress) and a large sign that reads "U.S Renegade" erected at another point on Mr. Lozman's property, I imagine we'd all like to know the current status. Also, it appears Mr. Lozman must've undertaken some work on his property without proper licenses because there's now an orange "stop work order" sticker on that sign, too. Thank you.
[ Editor's note: Thank you Mr. Miller and Sara M. We will be hosting a monthly SICA meeting with a discussion on Island Safety/Security. Ofc Cheeseman is also scheduled to be at our Monday, Nov 3rd SICA meeting. For more on development plans in Munyon's Cove , please visit this Palm Beach Post article and then SICA's position statement on any commercial development of;the Munyon's Cove area and check out this video about the environmental importance of our lagoon waters . SICA cannot speak to city matters on possible code violations or enforcement but we will certainly pass the message on. Readers: We can use more input from you! Please keep sending in your comments, scoop, ideas and news to be shared here with over 2212 of your neighbors. Your Singer Island Civic Association WILL stay on these issues. ]
