Please send in your comments, ideas and input to be shared here next week!
From the Good News Riviera Beach Team:
"Does one bad apple really spoil the whole bunch? This week Riviera Beach has been depicted very negatively in the media, but that one incident does not adequately define the beauty that is Riviera Beach. I and my Good News Riviera Beach Team see the bigger picture; so many great things that happen within the City of Riviera Beach that often times go unnoticed. This video shows how our team sees Riviera Beach."
[ Editor's note: Let's all work together as neighbors, city residents and citizens to collectively move our commUNITY forward in a positive way ...for our safety, security and prosperity. ]
From Claire, about beach access:
"Is the beach property in front of the Marriott Resort private property? Do they have the right to deny beach goers the opportunity to sit on their own beach chairs or towels (in front of the resort)? Do they have the right to deny private chairs &/or towels between the high and low water (tide) marks?"
[ Editor's note: Thanks, Claire (if anyone has input or information, please send it in and we will share it here and with Claire.]
From: kwieman, regarding last week's story about a beach re-nourishment project over on mid-town beach, Palm Beach:
"Once again Singer Island has sand removed less than a half mile from the shore and it is dumped on Palm Beach or Jupiter or Juno, does this make sense? Singer Island is at the waters edge already"
Please keep sending in your input to be shared here next week with over 1435 of your neighbors, and your Singer Island Civic Association WILL stay on these issues.
