Ocean Mall Update - from THE CITY OF RIVIERA BEACH
Dawn S. Pardo | Council Chair Pro Tempore | District 4
"Last week a meeting was held with GSF - the Lessee of the Ocean Mall. We made them aware of the substandard conditions at the Mall, which are numerous. The City is very concerned with the condition of the Mall and may issue a default notice if the conditions are not improved.
GSF agreed to immediately pressure clean the sidewalks, remove graffiti, place aesthetically pleasing window coverings on the empty store fronts and move forward with constructing a building on the vacant lot (formerly 7-11). Late last week they did file for a construction permit. GSF also mentioned they are in negotiations to bring several new tenants to the Mall.
Rest assured, the City is aware of the issues at the Mall and are working with GSF to resolve them in a timely fashion."
