Cool Link of The Week:

The Singer Island Civic Association Salutes: The Riviera Beach Maritime Academy. Florida is home to a 14.1 billion dollar marine industry. Marine businesses in Florida include, but are not limited to, port and marina operations, boat and yacht builders, charter brokers, and other maritime support services. The need for professionals to enter the maritime workforce is crucial. Our very own RB Maritime Academy has a free, public, charter high school (9-12) located near the Intercoastal Waterway in the city of Riviera Beach that is doing a wonderful job in experiential education for our community ...Thank you RB Maritime Academy Staff!

SICA Volunteer Opportunity:  we are searching for a local resident that is highly skilled in "social media" for help with Facebook, Twitter, etc; ideally someone with passion, experience and a willingness to volunteer!
