STUDENT SPOTLIGHT
Veritas School's own Sara Tully and sisters head to Gymnastics Western Nationals!
Defying all odds, sisters Sara Tully - 17, Kara Tully - 14 and Grace Tully - 12 , qualify to compete at USAG WESTERN NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS, April 28-31 in Missoula, MT. It is rare and difficult for one athlete in a family to qualify at this demanding level, but for 3 sisters to do it in the same year is extremely rare!!
Only 28 Level 9 athletes from Oregon qualified to Nationals at the recent Region 2 Championships, where oldest sibling Sara was the All-Around Champion!
What fun in an Olympic year when the nation's attention turns to gymnastics on an International level to be able to also celebrate an incredible accomplishment by three young athletes from the Portland community!!

IMPORTANT NOTE REGARDING SHARING PHOTOS
A number of parents, teachers and classes have been using Shutterfly accounts as a repository for picture sharing. This is a great option in theory, but please take note that once photos are uploaded to Shutterfly they cannot be downloaded again or transferred to others for use in anything other than printing through Shutterfly. If you have photos to share with the school for
yearbook, marketing or Verbatim,
PLEASE do not assume that we can pull them from Shutterfly to use.
Please share photos via CD, flash-drive, or as an email attachment to the attention of Lucinda Brown for Verbatim and yearbook, or directed to Kasi Woidyla in Marketing. You may also upload photos specifically for the yearbook to the Lifetouch.
We are working on a new and better process for sharing photos, but in the meantime please follow these guidelines. Thank you!

Thank you all for your love, prayers, and support of this special family over the past few months. Dawn continues to fight, and her cancer markers have improved after the first few weeks of chemo.
If you'd like to provide a meal, please click on the meal train calendar below to see the opportunities available in the rest of April and May. Please feel free to forward this to others whom you think would be interested in providing a meal.
