Drop in to briefly meet Brett and Carol over a cup of coffee.

A relaxed reception with drinks and hors d'oeuvres. Childcare provided for Vespers and the Reception.

Our gifts during April will be designated for Red Hook Initiative youth program which provides academic enrichment, job training, employment, and leadership opportunities for the youth in the Red Hook housing projects.

Brooklyn Kindergarten Society / Thursday April 28 & Friday, April 29
Help BKS brighten up their Summer Houses location in Bed-Stuy and work with the children to create painted flower pots for Mother's Day. You are welcome to participate on either day.
The schedule for both days is:

1 pm - 3 pm: paint flower boxes (adult activity)
3 pm - 5 pm: Work with the kids to create painted flower pots for Mother's Day.

Mission School of Hope Breakfast / Sunday, May 1 @ 10 am
Join us in the Reception Room for a celebration breakfast and an update from Charles Sagay, the director of the Mission School of Hope in Cameroon and hear wonderful news of the school and medical facilities program.

Planting a garden with trafficking survivors at the Restore Safehome / 
Saturday, May 7, noon - 5 pm
Be a part of a positive and therapeutic experience for trafficking survivors, making the journey towards a new life. Work with the residents of the Restore Safehome (all survivors) in Queens to set up their garden. This opportunity is for women only and will be a small group. Please email Plymouth's Anti-Trafficking Ministry chair Beth Fleisher for more information .

Hope Program Interview Project / Monday, May 9, 4 pm - 6 pm
We continue our ongoing and successful mission work with the Hope Program, empowering New Yorkers living in poverty to achieve economic self-sufficiency through employment and advancement. You can help by joining us to hold mock interviews, assisting HOPE students with interviewing and job skills.
