Bible Patch Series Introduces "Boulders"
"Boulders" became the newest patch in the Bible Basics RP3 Series from P.R.A.Y. This series provides free Bible curriculum which emphasizes Bible STORIES and also Bible STUDY. It is "one size fits all" meaning that not only is the curriculum for all ages (including adults), but that when you print the free Bible lesson, it will contain all the questions for the different age groups in one lesson.

The new "Boulders" patch combines the following three stories and important lessons:

Story #1: Water from a Rock
Stop complaining! When we complain, we're complaining against God. Instead, be patient and trust God because He provides everything we need.

Story #2: Roll the Stone Away!
God overcomes death, but he feels our sorrow and pain.

Story #3: A Stone Memorial to God's Power and Faithfulness
Keep alive the stories of God's grace and power!

Jennifer has earned three of the P.R.A.Y. awards and is working on her fourth one, God and Life. This summer Jennifer used the new Bible patches as an opportunity to do Bible study with her mom. According to her mother Annette, "We have really enjoyed working on the different patches. It allows us time together and it helps us both learn more about the Bible.  Keep up the good work because they are very helpful!"

God and Family
Combined Girl Scouts and Webelos Scouts
Escondido, CA

Jackie Huhn from Community Lutheran Church in Escondido, CA invited both Girl Scouts and Webelos Scouts to attend a class and earn their God and Family award. Meetings were held in her home with parents heavily involved. Sessions started with the workbook lessons, Bible readings, stories, and other activities, followed by the pizza craft portion.  Upon completion of the program, the class met with the pastor, and the youth each presented a different portion of the course for the final review. Parents valued the activities and how they encouraged family togetherness. According to Junior Girl Scout Erin, "I thought learning about the cheese was most fun because I like memorizing things. I also liked decorating my pizza box."
