Because of your investments with Lutheran Church Extension Fund (LCEF), 76 South Wisconsin District congregations, RSO's, and various other ministries were able to receive loans. Likewise, through your investments, LCEF was able to provide more than $580,000 in loans to Rostered Church Workers. Each year LCEF also provides thousands of dollars to the districts to be used as needed in each respective location. To God be the Glory!
Did you know the Young Investors Club (YI Club) has been around for almost two years. Did you know the interest rate has remained at 3.5% for the entire time. These accounts make great birthday and Christmas gifts. We purchased one for our granddaughter.
Below you will see an ad for ConnectPLUS. Tell family and friends of this two-year note, it is currently paying 3.0%.
LCEF investments are impacting ministry here in the South Wisconsin District and beyond. Feel free to use any of this content in your communications with family and your congregational family. If you have any questions please call, 414-464-8100 extension 25.
Yours in Christ,
Diana

National Youth Gathering 2016
|
NYG 2016 Place: New Orleans, LA Date: July 16-20 If you have a youth group that is planning on going to the NYG, please have the group leader contact Robin - mueller@swd.lcms.org - at the District office. We want to make sure that they are receiving all the information from the District office regarding the District event, t-shirts, etc. LCEF has been an important partner to those attending LCMS National Youth Gatherings. We will once again provide financial services for youth groups, workers and, volunteers. A major concern for anyone who travels is handling money, and congregation leaders, parents and young people attending this major event are no different. We want the experience to be fun, memorable and safe!
Consider LCEF's Visa prepaid cards as an alternative to giving cash to youth group members. Lost cards can be easily replaced, and funds not used can be returned to the youth group's StewardAccount® for future events. The LCEF Exchange, also will be operating during the Gathering, July 16-20, 2016, in New Orleans. This service allows for on-site cash transactions for workers, volunteers, DCEs, parents and attendees. NEW this year! Youth leaders can text LCEFNYG to 3131-31 for LCEF tips and tools as they prepare for and enjoy the Gathering.
