Y.I. Club
Where Saving Money is Fun...and Helps Others Learn About Jesus

Sharing time and close friends and family is a valuable gift. Make the time you spend with the special young people in your life memorable and fun.

Because good stewardship begins with small steps...and a good role model. Help the young people in your life experience the joy of investing for the future while empowering ministry through the Young Investors (Y.I.) Club.

Investments through LCEF's Y.I. Club mean more. Invested funds make loans and services possible, which help keep ministries vibrant and reaching out with the Gospel. LCEF understands ministries and their unique financial needs.

Enhancing Ministry Communications at
St. Paul, West Allis
"We are grateful for LCEF's contribution that helped to make the sign a reality," said Ralph Conrad, planning committee member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church and School in West Allis, Wisconsin.

In the fall of 2014, the congregation contracted Lutheran Church Extension Fund (LCEF) South Wisconsin District (SWD) Vice President Diana Raasch as a potential sponsor to help fund a new sign for the church and school. "LCEF is a partner in God's Mission with our LCMS churches and schools. We were blessed to support St. Paul's efforts," said Raasch. "The congregation did a great job communicating their need for additional funds to their members all school year, with a large poster to show progress, in newsletters and more. God provided. Everyone is very pleased with the sign."

If your Lutheran Church - Missiouri Synod (LCMS) church or school is seeking to enhance their ministry communications, learn more about LCEF's Signature Sponsorship Series at lcef.org/sponsorship or call Diana at 414-464-8100, ext 25 or LCEF at 800-843-5233.

National Youth Gathering 2016

NYG 2016

Place: New Orleans, LA

Date:  July 16-20

If you have a youth group that is planning on going to the NYG, please have the group leader contact Robin - mueller@swd.lcms.org - at the District office. We want to make sure that they are receiving all the information from the District office regarding the District event, t-shirts, etc.

LCEF has been an important partner to those attending LCMS National Youth Gatherings. We will once again provide financial services for youth groups, workers and, volunteers.

A major concern for anyone who travels is handling money, and congregation leaders, parents and young people attending this major event are no different. We want the experience to be fun, memorable and safe!

Consider LCEF's Visa prepaid cards as an alternative to giving cash to youth group members. Lost cards can be easily replaced, and funds not used can be returned to the youth group's StewardAccount® for future events.

The LCEF Exchange, also will be operating during the Gathering, July 16-20, 2016, in New Orleans. This service allows for on-site cash transactions for workers, volunteers, DCEs, parents and attendees.

NEW this year! Youth leaders can text LCEFNYG to 3131-31 for LCEF tips and tools as they prepare for and enjoy the Gathering.
