Confirmation: What Does This Mean?

Rev. Randy Raasch, Senior Pastor, First Immanuel Lutheran Church, Cedarburg

In a culture that is increasingly less Christian, it is important to teach our children doctrinal truths of the Scriptures, but equally important to teach them how to defend these truths. Your confirmation curriculum can do both.

Social Media in the Church - For Beginners

Karla Miles, Alumni Relations Coordinator, LSHAGM

What image does your church/school convey in its social media? And did you know that NOT engaging in social media sends a loud message of its own? Social Media can be an effective communication tool for the church when used appropriately. It can be applied for internal tasks between leadership teams and members. It can also be applied externally to reach out to your surrounding community. This session is for beginners and will primarily focus on creating and leveraging your church/school Facebook page.

Prepare, Provide and Protect

Pam Modsnes, CFP, LCEF Gift Planning Manager

An overview of Legacy Planning, an outline for goals, considerations and warnings for awareness in estate planning matters, and the "5 P's" for creating a solid plan to move forward. Resources will be provided for your to take home.

Concordia Plan Services

Maureen Schneider, Benefit Consultant

Discussion on the challenges and opportunities as we walk together in caring for workers and their families. This presentation will discuss both near and long-term modifications and enhancements in the Concordia Plans benefit programs.
