Are you having trouble downloading the School Choice Toolkit?
The Toolkit is a PDF portfolio that requires Adobe Flash. I am including links below that will allow you to install or update your Adobe Flash player as well as the latest Adobe Reader.

School Choice Toolkit
If updates do not resolve your problem, please email Terry Brown, School Choice Wisconsin, and they will mail out a disc with all the files extracted from the portfolio.
Our initial contacts with legislators suggest a generous increase in the number of vouchers for the expansion. This has been 25 years of struggle to empower parents statewide with school choice. Let's show our gratitude by showing demand for Wisconsin Parental Choice Program! Apply by February 1, 2015.

Housing Allowance
|
Ruling Preserves Housing Allowance Exclusion
In 2013, the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Wisconsin in the case of Freedom from Religion Foundation v. Lew had ruled that the exclusion from income of a housing allowance for ministers of religion under the Internal Revenue Code was unconstitutional. After the ruling an appeal was filed with the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit.
Because of the importance of this ruling and the impact it could have on our plan members, Concordia Plan Services has been monitoring activity regarding the case.
We're happy to announce that on November 13, 2014, the Court of Appeals reversed the decision of the District Court. Therefore, the housing allowance exclusion remains permissible. This is certainly good news for ordained and commissioned ministers of the LCMS.
A copy of the opinion issued by the court can be found here.

Be Well... Serve Well

Be Well Rewards Incentive Program - Back for 2015
This program it's getting back to the basics! We heard the concerns of our members and are making some changes to help simplify the program for next year and make it easier to participate.
In 2015:
- Be Well Rewards members will be able to report activities by going directly to BeWellServeWell.com.
- Usernames will be: date of birth, last name, and the last four digits of their Social Security number.
- Participants will be able to use their old passwords or set up new ones.
In addition, we have changed the health assessment to make it much shorter and easier to access -- and it will no longer be a gateway to earn any points. In fact, they can earn points for taking the assessment. There will be some other changes to the activities and point values - your workers should be watching the mail in January for full program details (for an outline of what stays the same and what changes click here). The program will be available beginning January 2.
Finally, CHP members and enrolled spouses can each earn up to $250 in 2015, and the employer match will still be in place ($250 max. for each employee & spouse). __________________________________________________________________________________
2014 activities need to be reported by November 31.
