THOUGHT FOR THE WEEK

_______________________________________________________

Your life is to be lived in such a way as to reflect Him,
to show the world the character of God- His love, His peace,
His mercy, His gentleness. You are to live for Him, to accomplish
His will. To miss this purpose is to miss fulfillment.
It is to have existed rather than to have lived.

nlsaNLSA / AdvancED - New Process

Schools seeking dual accreditation (AdvancED/NLSA) will make application for both processes directly through the NLSA office in St. Louis. Since NLSA is the managing partner for Lutheran schools seeking accreditation with AdvancED we can provide a significant discount at the time of application for our schools.

Lutheran schools seeking dual accreditation must complete 2 applications, the NLSA application and AdvancEd application, and send them to our office in St. Louis. With the applications they should remit their fees of $450 for NLSA and $825 for AdvancED. Although the attached AdvancEd application indicates there is a $500 application fee, NLSA has negotiated a new rate for our partner schools. Through a single submission process our schools will receive a reduction of $400 in application fees, making the total due $825. Only one check is necessary, and should be made payable to NLSA. This payment will apply to both processes.

As the managing partner for LCMS schools our office will collect and hold applications and submit them together to AdvancED during one of two open enrollment periods (December 15 for schools seeking accreditation in January of the following year and May 15 for schools seeking accreditation in June of the following year).

Applications are able to be filled electronically and printed. Once applications have been received in our office, workspaces for the schools will be opened. Schools may begin their work at that time.

Following are the new application forms for the new process for NLSA and for AdvancED.
