All CC, PS, elementary and high school principals are included on the list, as well as the regional superintendents and Mark. Some have been using the listserv to share resources, seek advise on how programs are handled at the different schools, etc.
The different listserv addresses are:
swdk8@luthed.org - all elementary principals
swdk12@luthed.org - all elementary and high school principals
swdhs@luthed.org - all high school principals
If there are others you would like to see on this listserv (i.e., assistant principals), please let me know and we can add them.

NATIONAL BLUE RIBBON SCHOOL |
OUR REDEEMER LUTHERAN SCHOOL, WAUWATOSA RECOGNIZED BY U.S. SECRETARY OF EDUCATION AS NATIONAL BLUE RIBBON SCHOOL FOR 2013
Our Redeemer Lutheran School, 10025 W. North Avenue, Wauwatosa, is pleased to announce that it was selected by U.S. Secretary of Education Arne Duncan as one of just 286 schools nationwide for recognition as a 2013 National Blue Ribbon School.
Criteria for the honor included overall academic excellence and/or school progress in improving student academic achievement. The Department of Education will honor these 236 public and 50 private schools at a recognition ceremony on Nov. 18-19, 2013, in Washington, D.C.
|
Deadline for nominations is October 3, 2013. Lutheran Education Association affirms exemplary educators through 12 annual awards. Each award recognizes educational ministry characterized by strong commitment to serving Jesus Christ and excellence and effectiveness in teaching, leadership, and professionalism. Specific qualifications appear in each nomination document.
LEA confers awards after nominations and nominee self-profiles are considered by a panel of peers, which chooses honorees based on the merits described in supporting documents.
Awards are presented during the year of selection, but all recipients are honored again at LEA's triennial Convocations.
Links below provide copies of award criteria and nomination forms used to identify the 2014 recipients.
Be sure to use the "Confirm Order" button after you've looked at the review sheet on MyLEA. This will submit the nomination to the office.
