Mike Filey, well-known author of the Toronto Sketches series and the Toronto Sun column, "The Way We Were"  recounts some of his fascinating and fun stories from Toronto's past. Free.

Lloyd Alter, managing editor of TreeHugger.com and teacher of sustainable design at Ryerson University School of Interior Design, discusses how the streetcar transformed and continues to transform St Clair W. Free.

Join Toronto transit and history experts Greg Gormick and Steve Munro as you take a free ride on an historic TTC streetcar. Free.

Come for the Parkette opening and stay for the Regal Heights Village Community Festival, featuring games, performances, drumming classes, Capoeira demonstrations, Samba demonstrations and more!

Visitors will enjoy personal stories of residents' historical connection with the St Clair Streetcar, many approaching their own 100 year milestone! Free.

The Turners of Bracondale with Audrey Fox - 2pm to 2:45pm
Christie Gardens, 600 Melita Crescent
Area resident and historian, Audrey Fox, presents her research about the Turners, the family that first settled Bracondale. See photographs from the era and study early maps of the area. Free.

A family storytime to celebrate the centennial of the St Clair Streetcar. Books, songs and crafts. Free.

Tollkeeper's Cottage Tour - 11am to 5pm

This Cottage is amongst the oldest buildings in Toronto.  Docents in period dress will explain the road system of the time and the life of typical hardworking Torontonians. Admission by donation.

Join this 1.5 hour walking tour through the neighbourhood.  Lead by WBCA volunteers Diana Sernick and Sheryl Mitchell.  Part of the official Heritage Toronto Tour schedule.  Donations encouraged.
