Sharing & Caring for Seniors
|
Important issues facing seniors, their families & the professionals working with them.
|
|
Greetings!
Our Personal Support Worker training at our Care-Ed Learning Center follows the newly designed "made in New Brunswick" standardized curriculum which is sensitive to the realities of the home support sector. It prepares caregivers with the knowledge and skills necessary to provide quality support care in the community.
Our Introductory Orientation Program, Module 1, provides the foundational training for support workers to deliver quality care to seniors. Our learning units cover everything from the Aging Process and Dietary Concerns to Back Safety and Food Handler Safety, and much more.
Our programs are recognized by the New Brunswick Home Support Association (NBHSA), the Department of Social Development (DSD) and Post Secondary Training and Labour (PETL). If you have any questions about our caregiver training programs or our homecare services, give us a call.

Are we ready for the unexpected? There is not one of us who can say with certainty that we know what is "around the corner" or as some say, "what is coming down the tube".
For years we have heard the Boy Scouts proudly declare, "Be prepared". How prepared are we, whether we are at 28 or 82, for the curves life may throw our way?

We offer customized Personal Support Worker(PSW) training for organizations & groups. We have a training workshop is session for First Nations in New Brunswick this month.

Care Link Advantage: Peace of Mind, Theirs & Yours.
|
There is no place like home. And that is exactly where your loved ones want to continue living. Now you and Care Link Advantage can keep them there. It's easy. And it's proven. Mom loves her home, and her in dependence. She does not want to move. Retirement and assisted living facilities can be expensive. You and your siblings worry about her safety, and you know you cannot be there for her 24 hours a day. Now you can both have what you want. Mom gets to stay in her home, and you get the peace of mind you need through Care Link Advantage. We have real concerns when a loved one is living alone. - Are they eating properly?
- Are they sleeping properly?
- Are they wandering outside of their home when they should not be?
- Are they taking their medications when they should?
- And perhaps the biggest concern of all... Are they "Up & About" and O.K. as they should be, or have they had a problem and/or a fall and are unable to push their PERS (Personal Emergency Response System) pendant to call for help?
