What does OND stand for? OND stands for Open New Dealers, a program to create more distribution by signing up new 5-Star dealers (large, progressive, store-front dealers), and the potential to earn double commission, plus a $5,000 award for having the top commission-generating new dealer! The top commission-generating new dealer also wins free advertising for six months (up to $2500)!
OND* is in effect until June 30, 2014, and new 5-Star dealers signed up from January 1, 2013 thru June 30, 2014, qualify with minimum commissions generated. Ask your sales manager for more details on dealer qualifications!

Alliance Animal Health ISP Months
Alliance Animal Health (AAH) products have historically been used to enhance ADM feed programs and open doors to new opportunities. We want this to continue, and we want dealers to continue capturing the value of these products. Therefore, three primary changes will occur in 2014:
a. Truckload rebates: We will increase our truckload rebate to $1,000 on full truckloads of AAH products. The rebate will appear as a credit on the account and is applicable to all AAH orders of 300 points or more. The truckload rebate can be earned any month throughout the year.
b. Points: Points have traditionally only accrued during the four ISP months. In 2014, points will accrue on all purchases year-round. Therefore, regardless of when AAH products are purchased, dealers can earn more points toward the Dealer Recognition Award trip.
c. Dealers Choice and Mix N' Match: These two traditional programs will no longer be available in 2014.

Can AminoGain® Still Give a ROI with Lower Corn Prices?
by Dr. Gerald Walker, product/technical manager, AminoGain
One common question today about using AminoGain (AG) is, "With the price of corn moving lower in the $4 range, can it still pay to use AminoGain?" When AminoGain was first introduced, the price of corn was around $3.50/bu. Before corn increased to the $7/bu range, it paid to feed AG then! At that time, the price of corn was very similar to where it is today. The price of corn, for the most part, does not change the ROI from feeding AminoGain. Click the link below for Dr. Walker's entire article.

Commercial Swine
Niche marketing programs represent a great opportunity for ADM Alliance Nutrition. Our Swine MAF Program products are formulated to:
- Exclude the usage of meat, bone and blood ingredients
- Be non-medicated
- Meet pigs' nutritional needs from weaning to market
- Meet certification in most niche marketing programs
Even more exciting are our proprietary ingredients that can enhance these type of products to meet the specific needs of these type of programs. Products such as CitriStim®, PremiDex™, and Natural-source vitamin E are all key components of, in particular, our starter products within this program.
Two key products we've focused on to meet the wean-to-finish producers' needs are Swine Starter Mix MAF (12150AAA) and Swine G/F 50 LP MAF (12149AAA). In tandem, these two products can be used to develop an effective program for these systems which typically wean a bit heavier (18-20 lb) and older pigs (>21 days). We've had great comments back from our sales force relative to how these two products in tandem can simplify our offering while still maintaining great performance. I'd encourage you to review the Quick Reference Guide for a quick refresher course on the Swine MAF Program.
Finally, in March, we'll be participating/supporting the Niman Ranch Pork Company annual meeting held in Ames, IA. As part of their trade show, producers from ten states across the midwest will be in attendance and we're looking forward to sharing our programs, products and ingredients with them in greater detail.
Have a great month of selling!

Dairy
Sweet Unique™ Calf Feeds
Sweet Unique 18% Calf Starter, Sweet Unique 20% Calf Starter and Sweet Unique 16% Calf Grower are now available in many areas. Now is a great time to take a look at some of the key resource materials we have available for this new line of products. Product pages for all three of these products are now available. A Sweet Unique Rack Card for calf feeds is also available, and can be ordered from Business Services. A new bag has been designed for these products, and should be available soon. Sweet Unique research trials are approaching completion. To date, the results have looked very impressive, and will be available in the near future.
Milk Futures Generating Excitement
Milk future prices are looking extremely good for the next three months. March through June could continue with some of the best consecutive months of milk prices which dairy producers have seen in the past six years. Promote and sell your value-added products and feeding programs. Use the economic calculator at MilkPay.com to show how a small investment can result in some big $$ returns. A MilkPay app is available for your iPhone and Android devices. If you would prefer an Excel spreadsheet calculator, contact me, Don Jaquette, and I will send you a copy.
