What does OND stand for? OND stands for Open New Dealers, a program to create more distribution by signing up new 5-Star dealers (large, progressive, store-front dealers), and the potential to earn double commission, plus a $5,000 award for having the top commission-generating new dealer! The top commission-generating new dealer also wins free advertising for six months (up to $2500)!
  
OND* is in effect until June 30, 2014, and new 5-Star dealers signed up from January 1, 2013 thru June 30, 2014, qualify with minimum commissions generated. Ask your sales manager for more details on dealer qualifications!

National Cattlemen's Beef Association Convention

The 2014 NCBA Convention & Trade Show will be held in Nashville, TN, at the Gaylord Opryland on Tuesday, Feb. 4 to Friday, Feb. 7. Beef producers from across the country will be visiting with ADM Alliance Nutrition personnel about range and feedlot products and programs, including our unique products -- Loomix®, AminoGain®, Roughage Buster®, and Mintrate®, plus specialty ingredients IGR, CitriStim® and Thermal Care. Attendees will also be registering to win free ADM beef mineral!

Beginning January 15, 2014 (and every two weeks through March 31) watch for bi-monthly announcements and Range Mineral Beef Promotion sales recognition for the beef mineral promotion which began December 1, 2013! Click here for recognition (see Page 3)!

 

Range Mineral Beef Promotion Reminders:

  • Automatic discounts at the $60.00 per ton rate on orders of qualifying beef mineral products from December 1, 2013 through March 31, 2014.
  • Forward Commitment Option prior to March 15 for a minimum of 10 tons for continued discounts through June 30, 2014. Requirements include a commitment option form and $20 per ton fee to receive $80 per ton discounts April 1 through June 30, 2014.
  • Paid Incentive and Growth Reward available for achieving and surpassing sales base.
  • Submit sales manager approved Retail Sales Activity Plan to participate in the sales incentives.

We continue to be pleased with the positive feedback we get from our sales professionals and their customers. Below are the close-outs I've received with another ~20,000 or so pigs to add to our database. I really appreciate those who have provided this information; they have used it to grow their business. With all the fluctuation we've seen with ingredient costs, one additional product you may want to review is the Amino Acid Balancer Pack-HL. With the price spreads we see within corn and soybean meal, in addition to amino acids being more competitively priced, this product is well worth reviewing with your customers. One pound of the Amino Acid Balancer Pack is designed to replace about 13 lb/ton of soybean meal while maintaining the proper amino acid profile. Inclusion levels can vary from 5-10 lb/ton.

Sweet UniqueCalf Feeds

 

Sweet Unique 18% Calf Starter, Sweet Unique 20% Calf Starter and Sweet Unique 16% Calf Grower are now available in many areas. Now is a great time to take a look at some of the key resource materials we have available for this new line of products. Product pages for all three of these products are now available. A Sweet Unique Rack Card for calf feeds is also available, and can be ordered from Business Services. A new bag has been designed for these products, and should be available by the end of February. Sweet Unique research trials are approaching completion. To date, the results have looked very impressive, and will be available in the near future.

 

Milk Futures Generating Excitement

Milk future prices are looking extremely good for the next 5 months. Jan -- June could very well be some of the best consecutive months milk prices that dairy producers have seen in the past six years. Promote and sell your value-added products and feeding programs. Use the economic calculator at MilkPay.com to show how a small investment can result in some big $$ returns. A MilkPay app is available for your iPhone and Android devices.
