Spring Break 2013!
Things to do in the area:
Manatee and Sarasota Counties might be best known for their beaches and sunny days but we know that they have even more to offer. With spring break coming up we challenge you to be a tourist in your own home towns and get out to explore all the fascinating things that theseBeach wonderful counties have to offer!

Marie Selby Botanical Gardens: This is a true Sarasota gem. Walk the gardens and see numerous different species of flowers. During spring break they will be having a special exhibit entitled "Rainforest Masks of Costa Rica".

Robinson Preserve: Hike through trails, observe wildlife, have a picnic or even go kayaking at the 487-acre coastal property. Climb the watchtower where you can view the bay or come with your leashed furry companion to observe the sights.

Sarasota Jungle Gardens: At the Sarasota Jungle Gardens you will be able to get up close to many animals. Have a flamingo eat out of the palm of your hand or partake in one of the four educational and interactive shows.

O'Brien Family Farms: At O'Brien Family Farms they have 29 rows of hydroponic stacks! Here the public can pick their own strawberries, broccoli, kale, carrots and much more.

South Florida Museum: At the South Florida Museum you can visit the oldest manatee in captivity, Snooty! Learn fun facts about this gentle giant or learn about astronomy at the Bishop Planetarium.
