Keynote Speaker: Najeeb Al-Shorbaji, Director, Department of Knowledge, Ethics and Research, World Health Organization (WHO).
Najeeb has been working as Director, Knowledge, Ethics and Research at the WHO HQ in Geneva since 1 Nov 2013. Prior to that and since 1 Sept 2008 he held the post of Director, Knowledge Management and Sharing Department. The current profile of Dr Al-Shorbaji covers WHO publishing programme, information networks, eHealth, Ethics, Research and Knowledge Translation. Before moving to Geneva he worked as Information Scientist, Regional Advisor for Health Information Management and Telecommunication and Coordinator for Knowledge Management and Sharing at the WHO Eastern Mediterranean Regional Office since Feb 1988. He is from Jordan, married and holds a PhD in Information Sciences since 1986
