Greetings!
It's hard to believe but the Council's 21st Annual Summit,
Creating Healthy and Safe Communities, is just days away. Despite a larger venue, registration again needed to be closed in advance of the Summit this year. As such, you will be joining a maximum capacity Summit crowd of more than 800 people for a day of Celebration, Recognition and Learning.
Attendees such as yourself have taken the lead in addressing New Jersey's number one public health concern - alcoholism and drug abuse. We gather to celebrate National Recovery Month; participate in cutting-edge workshops; and, honor community-based volunteers from throughout the state.
More than 250 attendees have also decided to attend the Northeast Conference on Behavioral Health and Addictive Disorders' opening keynote presentation. The presentation,
Developing Healthy Families: Show Me the Way to Grow Home, by Dr. Robert Ackerman follows the Summit. Time still remains to take advantage of discounted registration for the Conference, visit the
Summit's webpage to learn how.
In order to assist you with Summit details a packet of event-related information has been developed. The packet includes transportation, parking, registration, and Northeast Conference keynote information. Please click the link below to download and review the Summit packet.
We are honored and pleased to be in your presence and look forward to seeing you next week.
Sincerely,
Celina Gray
Director, Public Awareness and Community Relations
