NEWS & NOTES
Dear RPS Members:
We have two very important elections upcoming in the next week or so for the offices of the RPS Secretary and RPS Treasurer.  You vote in these two elections is critical. Both officers hold key central positions in determining the direction and growth of the Society.  Therefore, I urge all eligible voters to cast their votes in both elections.  All eligible voting members will receive separate informational announcments with the names of the candidates and their paperwork to review PRIOR to receiving their official ballot for each election.

Update on our Educational Materials
RPS Case of the Month Educational Series now has 8 cases for your collection.  This site is for members only and cases are peer reviewed for online publication and can be included in your publications lists (especially useful for our trainees!). RPS members submit all of the cases for this series. Please go to the RPS website to view the June case of the month and to access all other cases. You will need to log-in first.

Since it's launch in October 2013 under the leadership of past President Volker Nickeleit with help from Leal Herlitz, chair of the website & communications committee, and Surya Seshan, past chair of the education committee, it has had unprecedented success (see statistics below). These are RPS member visits to the case of the month site since October 9, 2013 through today.  Thank you all for your support and for supplying such interesting cases for our members. Please check out the cases (fully searchable site by keywords, disease categories, and month).

The total number of  views on the site is 1777!
