Dear Friends,
Caring. Consistent. Responsive.
We use these words to describe the benefits children receive at Baby's Space in a neighborhood-based setting that supports the whole family and features best practices. Here's what caring, consistent and responsive is from a baby's point of view.
Baby's Space NAEYC accredited childcare and our research-based curriculum, trained teachers, and intentionally designed environments prepare children for success. More than 90% of our pre-k children consistently score ready on the BKA.
Tatanka Academy Tatanka extends the Baby's Space philosophy to k-3 students who need education beyond traditional classrooms. Small class sizes, 197 instructional days and a commitment to children who need individualized instruction but don't qualify for special education makes Tatanka an effective preventive intervention approach. In 2012-13, NWEA-MAP scores increased 81% in reading and 93% in math.
Parent Engagement We host parent education groups, family nights, parent coaching, conferences and structured homework tasks for parents to stay connected with their children's education. Our responsive relationships with parents connect classroom life with home life to support children's learning outcomes.
Caring, consistent and responsive isn't a tagline for Baby's Space, it's our commitment to children. Thank you for your support.
Best Regards,
Terrie Rose
Founder and CEO
