GT applications are available for students in 1st- 4th grade. If you are interested in having your student tested for the GT program an application must be completed. Students may only be assessed one time per year. GT testing will take place December 12th -January 16th.
Once applications are returned we will collect the paperwork listed at the top of the application and obtain a teacher recommendation for your child. All GT applications are due to Lacey Grimm by November 24th.
If you have any questions about GT testing or would like to request a copy of the application to be sent home with your child please contact Lacey Grimm. Lgrimm@houstonisd.org

We have invited Rachel Burgan, the magnet coordinator for Pershing, to attend the November 2nd PTO Meeting at 8am. She will speak with our 5th grade parents and give them the most up to date information about the application process for middle school.
For parents who need hard copies of student records, forms will be sent home in the Wednesday folders.

condit | Reach for the Stars Campaign
Enrich A Child
Isn't Condit awesome? Well, it is so successful because of the parents' support. With your help, the PTO can provide programs and events that otherwise would not exist, such as:
- Accelerated Readers AR
- Science Box Program and Outdoor Science Lab
- Computer instructional support and ancillary support (library, PE, music, art and computer)
- Odyssey of the mind
- Name that book
- Field Day
- Buses for field trips
- Staff Appreciation
- Student Enrichment
And much more.
Please support Condit. Any amount, no matter how large or small will count toward our efforts to raise money for the benefit of our children.
-
Some companies will match your personal donation, please check with your employer if it applies to you.
-
Some companies encourage their families to volunteer in the community and will pay the school for your volunteered time.
Green envelopes were sent home with your children. Check out the donation level incentives, and carefully consider your donation.
The tiles from last year have been made into benches displayed around the school. We have a wonderful plaque which is displayed on the wall across the office.
