HE'E Planning Meeting: Tuesday, October 21, 2014, 4:00-6:00pm at The Learning Coalition, 841 Bishop Street, Suite 301. (Validated Parking at Ali'i Place, 1099 Alakea Street) (Please note that it is not the 2nd Tuesday morning as normally scheduled)
We apologize but due to a scheduling conflict, The Hope Street Group will not able to give their presentation on Tuesday, October 21st. We are very sorry for the inconvenience.
We will still have the Planning Meeting and will focus our attention instead on policy and prospective legislative ideas.
Good Beginnings Alliance will speak about the Preschool Constitutional Amendment. Castle Complex Community Meeting: Thursday, October 23, 2014, 5:00pm, Windward Community College
The annual "Castle Complex Community Meeting-Schools Share Data and Direction" is coming-up later in the month. This meeting serves as each school's SCC community meeting #1 to share data.

Hawaii International Dyslexia Association (HIDA)
HIDA again will be offering the dyslexia simulations workshop on October 23rd in Honolulu (HawaiiUSA Credit Union on A'ala St). Please see flyer here. This is one of HIDA's most popular workshops and many participants are profoundly impacted, becoming emotional while gaining a glimpse into what dyslexic children and adults face daily. More HE'E News 'Ike: Knowledge is Everywhere: Sequel to Ola-Health is Everything
Matthew Nagato, filmmaker of Ola-Health is Everything, is pleased to announce that the sequel- 'Ike: Knowledge is Everywhere - is an official selection of the Hawai'i International Film Festival and will be premiering on November 6th at the Dole Cannery Theaters.
