Aloha HE'E Members and Participants,
As HE'E has supported and followed Early Learning legislation, and as parents and families will be affected by change in the kindergarten entry age, we wanted to send this information to members.
There will be an informational briefing this Wednesday at the State Capitol, during which the Executive Office on Early Learning will be discussing efforts to support the change in kindergarten entry age come August 2014. It has been a collaborative work, and DHS, DOE, P-3, and Hawaii Association for the Education of Young Children (HAEYC) will also be present to answer questions from our legislators.
The briefing is on Wednesday, October 16, 2013 at 1:30pm in Conference Room 414, State Capitol, 415 South Beretania Street.
