Dear HE'E Members and Participants,
Please join us for HE'E's Planning Meeting on Tuesday, October 11, from 9:00-11:00am at The Learning Coalition Office, 841 Bishop Street, Suite 301. Validated parking is available.
We will continue the discussion on Education Benchmark Indicators that are important to HE'E. The results of the survey from the large meeting will be the starting point. Notes from the large group meeting are posted on our website here. All HE'E members and participants are welcome to attend. We encourage attendance for this important discussion. Please RSVP as soon as possible to Cheri@HEECoalition.org so that we can have an accurate count.
Some recent news: HE'E voted to endorse a Letter of Support for the Race to the Top - Early Learning Challenge Grant. We submitted the letter on September 29. Thank you members for your support on this very important issue.
Finally, we would like to give members and participants a heads up on the upcoming Board of Education Community Meeting which will take place in the Windward District on Thursday October 20 at King Intermediate School Cafeteria. Please save the date. We will keep you updated on the details as they become available.
