of Events
We intend to publish this Calendar of Events monthly on or about the first day of the month. We welcome information regarding your club and division events so we may include them in this calendar. By sharing with our neighboring clubs and divisions we hope to garner more support for our activities and promote similar events across the district. Please email your event information, including any flyers as attachments, to Steve Russell at stever45@centurylink.net.

You should also copy Jim Germann, the District Webmaster, at kiwanis@cox.net so your events can be listed on the District Website under the Club Listings tab. And after your event, be sure to share the story and any photos of your activity by sending them to Jim for posting on the District Website using the news submission form on the Website and to Steve Russell at stever45@centurylink.net to be included in the next issue of the Kiwanian. We look forward to hearing from you.
2016 District Mid Year Conference
The 2016 Kansas District Mid Year Conference will be held March 4 and 5 at the Four Points by Sheraton in Manhattan. The two Manhattan Clubs will be hosting this year's Mid Year Conference focusing on "More Hands for Doing What We Do Best!"

The Conference will open at 12 noon on Friday with the meeting of the Kansas Kiwanis Foundation Board, followed by a meeting of the Kansas District Board. Friday night will feature a Dinner and Service with IMPACT! sponsored by the Kansas District of Circle K.

Saturday's events will start with the general session at 8:45 a.m. The Conference will close with the Awards Luncheon which will begin at 12:30 p.m. Go to the Conference Information Page for more information and a tentative agenda.

March 8, 2016 - IHOP's National Pancake Day Fundraiser for Children's Miracle Network Hospitals, 7 a.m.-7 p.m., restaurant guests can enjoy a free short stack of pancakes in exchange for a suggested donation to the local Children's Miracle Network Hospital, a preferred charity of Kiwanis International.  Kiwanis members throughout the U.S. and Canada can register now to be a volunteer that day at their local IHOP - See More

Beginning in April the Shawnee Kiwanis Club will be changing meeting dates. Instead of meeting weekly, the club will meet on the first, third and fifth (if there is one) Tuesdays of each month.  They will still be meeting at Pegah's on Johnson Drive.
